Hello and welcome to my nail art blog!
I hope I kept this short and sweet, but if it's still too long, just read the bold print and you'll get the VERY short version!


My name is Kat and I've only been doing nail art since January of 2012. I've got a lot to learn, but with such inspiration through other's blogs, I'll get there eventually. I fell in love with nail art through tumblr (link at the bottom of the page) and knew that I had to get in on this amazing world. I've never been one for fashion, but I've always been artistic to a certain extent. I feel like this is the best of both worlds!

Here's a little insight on my life, I'm 21 and I was born in Tampa, Florida where I remain today. I've only left the state a handful of times, and not once have I been able to catch a sighting of snow (my heart breaks just thinking about it). I've been to Boston, NYC, DC, and Alabama. You can tell I love the big cities, but I think I love nature even more. I enjoy hiking, canoeing, and taking pictures while I do it (although I'm not amazing, so I won't call it photography just yet!).

I have a boyfriend (also 21) named Chris. Chris and I have been dating for almost 4 years now. We've lived together for at least 3 of them, although we're about an hour away now because we're trying to attend different colleges. Nevertheless our relationship is as strong as ever and we aim to keep it that way.

In my spare time, I love taking pictures of my cat (Batman), reading on my kindle fire, and playing video games. I get a little competitive with them at times... but don't hate me for it! I've also done loads of game themed nail art because of my love for all-things-nerdy. Chris and I share an xbox live account right now, but eventually there will be a gamertag below where you can add me!

I think that's pretty much it as far as a summary of my life goes.
